2010 Motorcycle Raffle Official Rules - Sponsored by Granny Rose Animal Shelter

Tri-County Animal Protection League, d/b/a Granny Rose Animal Shelter (“Granny Rose”), is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Granny Rose is a not-for-profit organization established to help animals in need. We are lucky enough to have a few good employees and a lot of great volunteers. We do not euthanize simply because an animal's "time is up". We keep them until they can be placed in a good, “forever home.” Therefore, sometimes our pets may not move for awhile, but euthanizing a good animal simply because it’s perfect family has not found them yet is not an option.

All money raised goes back into our programs for the animals. Our programs are financed, in part, by our fundraising activities, plus the generosity of people like you through personal fundraisers, gifts and donations. DONATIONS

For each $10.00 donation, a single raffle entry will be generated for the donor at time of donation. All tickets bought via the website at http://CharityMotorcycleRaffle.com will have a unique transaction ID that will constitute as your official Receipt of ticket(s) purchased and that number will match our website records and will represent the donors/purchasers portion of ticket in said raffle and be delivered instantly via supplied email address of donor/purchaser and also represent as paid receipt of said ticket, excluding in person ticket buys, and placed in our official ticket bin for the drawing and use the info supplied by you during checkout on-line. All tickets portions bought on-line as stated above will be delivered via instant e-mail delivery. A "donation" shall not occur and be binding on Granny Rose until funds received for the same have cleared the bank. PayPal accounts and most major credit cards are acceptable for online donations. Raffle donations may be made online at CharityMotorcycleRaffle.com or in-person at any site designated as an official outlet or where Granny Rose Animal Shelter tickets are on display. Donations are not tax deductible. Please Note: US Postal Regulation do NOT allow ticket stubs to be mailed via US Mail. We will fill out any and all tickets and place in drum for drawing for all on line purchases.

Each donation shall constitute an "entry" into the raffle drawing, and the person to whom the entry is registered shall be the "Entrant." Although more than one name may be provided on the entry registration form, the entry shall be registered to the first name listed, who shall constitute the sole Entrant for that ticket. The winning Entrant shall be the "winner" of the prize. Transfer of prize ownership will be made to the Entrant. The winner must supply his/her social security number and any additional information necessary to complete required tax and registration forms. This information shall be provided before the prize is tendered. It is the sole responsibility of the Entrant to allocate a winning prize to other participants in case of a multiple entry registration, and the winning Entrant shall hold harmless Granny Rose Animal Shelter, its officers, agents, employees and volunteers, and CharityMotorcycleRaffle.com and its officers, agents, and members, in case of conflicting claims or disputes among multiple claimants.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW

This raffle is conducted in accordance with gaming laws enacted and enforced by the State Of Illinois and is void in areas prohibited or restricted by law. Raffle promoters and/or Granny Rose are not responsible for lost or stolen entries. Raffle entries will be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Granny Rose, if attempts are made to disrupt the Raffle or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. If the above occurs, Granny Rose reserves the right to remedy any such action, disruption, or circumvention in a manner, determined solely by Granny Rose that is fair and equitable to Raffle participants.

Granny Rose, its members, officers, directors, agents, and representatives and their parent organizations, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, promotion and legal advisers are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; (ii) failed, returned, or misdirected notifications based on inaccurate information provided by the winner; (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties resulting from participation in this Raffle of otherwise; (iv) errors in transmission; (v) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Granny Rose that may cause the Raffle to be disrupted or corrupted; (vi) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the Raffle; or (vii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Raffle.

QUANTITY OF ENTRIES

The maximum number of entries offered via donation is 4,000. Requests for entries and therefore donations received after all entries are assigned or following the drawing, will be returned to the entrant(s).

ELIGIBILITY

Entrants must be legal residents of the United States and 18 years of age or older on, or before, April 30th, 2011. The Entrant must supply his/her social security number and complete all required tax and registration forms to receive the prize. If an Entrant's check or credit card is dishonored prior to the drawing, the entry ticket will be declared invalid, until a replacement donation is received. The replacement donation shall be required to be received and honored prior to the date and time of the drawing. All check or credit card charges found dishonored after the drawing must be honored. A $20.00 charge will be assessed for non-sufficient funds or stop payment checks.

DRAWING

The raffle drawing will take place on April 30th, 2011 at 2:00 pm, at the Granny Rose Animal Shelter, 613 River Lane, Dixon, IL. Winners name and likeness will be used and added to the website within 24 hours of drawing date. If not depleted prior to the official prize drawing, entries will be available via in-person donation until the day of the drawing. If not depleted prior to the official prize drawing, online entries must be completed and in the possession of Granny Rose by 9:00 a.m. CDT on Saturday, April 30th, 2011. The winner does not need to be present at the time of the drawing and will be notified by Granny Rose within 7 business days of the drawing. It is the responsibility of the donor/entrant to provide true and correct contact information including a valid mailing address, phone number and email address for notification.

PRIZE

The prize winner for the April 30th, 2011 drawing will be awarded a 2007 Midwest Motorcycles Ol' Skool Bobber with an official retail value of $26,900, or $10,000 cash in lieu of receiving the motorcycle.

Winner does not need to be present at the drawing, but must present their entry stub when claiming the prize. The winner must claim their prize within 14 days from notification, per directions provided in the notification letter. He/she is responsible for picking up the Motorcycle on a date, time and site within Lee County, IL as designated by Granny Rose. Failure to claim the prize within 14 days will result in forfeiture of the prize.

All federal, state and local income, sales and/or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize, are the sole responsibility of the holder of the winning ticket. The IRS has taken the position that amounts donated for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution. Winner must complete a W-9 form before receiving prize. For further information, consult your qualified financial adviser.

In the event a minimum of 3,500 donations are not received by April 30th, 2011, Granny Rose reserves the right to withdraw the motorcycle prize and pay 50% of the net proceeds up to $12,500 to one winner.

WAIVER/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Entrants release Granny Rose, its board of directors, committee members, officers, volunteers, and representative agents from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession of the prize. Any liability of Granny Rose shall be limited to the donation amount. In case of a dispute, Granny Rose’s decision shall be final. Granny Rose is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

Entrant agrees to allow Granny Rose to use his/her name and/or image without any compensation for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffles. Any and all addresses and contact information of the donor/purchaser will not be released to the public.
